The tiny tone-on-tone squares create such a subtle, elegant pattern that works beautifully for both quilting blocks and a simple gathered skirt. It's soft to the touch and pressed out nicely without any fuss.

I cut into this yesterday for a baby quilt backing and the subtle grid pattern has just enough texture to be interesting without overwhelming the prints I paired it with. The fabric has a nice, soft hand that pressed up beautifully.

The tone-on-tone squares read more like a subtle texture than a print, which is exactly what I wanted for a quilt backing. Cuts cleanly and presses flat, no fraying drama.
