I was worried about shrinkage with a lightweight cotton, but after a cold wash and delicate dry cycle it shrank exactly as described and the pale silver color remained crisp. The fabric has a nice, soft hand that makes it pleasant to work with for quilting.

The 44-inch width gives me plenty of room to cut quilt squares without wasting fabric along the selvedge. It presses flat and holds a crisp fold, which made the half-square triangles in my latest quilt line up nicely.

I prewashed this on cold and it barely shrank, maybe a quarter inch at most. The 150gsm weight is light enough to drape nicely for a summer quilt but not so thin that it feels cheap. That silvery tone reads almost like brushed metal in person, which is exactly the look I was after.
