Blossom 穀倉紅 by Christopher Thompson for Riley Blake Design

I was pleasantly surprised how nicely this red fabric sews up for a quilt backing; the tiny white blossoms add just a hint of whimsy without being overwhelming. The color is rich and consistent throughout.

I’ve been using this red for a quilt backing and the white confetti blossoms pop beautifully against the barn red—it’s cheerful without being busy. The weave feels sturdy but not stiff, so it drapes nicely for a simple tote I sewed on the side.

The confetti blossoms are so crisp against the barn red that they make the print pop from across the room. I've already used it for a quilt backing and the color held up beautifully after a pre-wash. This is exactly the kind of fabric that makes a simple project feel special.
