I was pleasantly surprised by how well this charcoal fabric holds its shape after washing, it's a solid medium-weight canvas. The dashed line pattern is subtle enough to work as a neutral but adds just enough visual interest for a modern quilt.

The swirling dashed lines in this charcoal print are subtler than they look online, which I actually prefer for a blender. The organic canvas has a nice medium weight with just enough tooth for appliqué without fraying everywhere. Cut into it for a wall hanging last week and the edges held up fine.

I bought this to back a quilt and the medium-weight canvas has just enough body without being stiff to sew through. The charcoal shade is a true dark gray, not washed out, and those swirling dashed lines add texture without fighting the piecing.
