I’ve been hunting for a subtle background fabric for a quilt and the tone-on-tone squares blend beautifully without shouting. The weave feels sturdy yet soft, and it handled the needle and iron without any fraying or puckering. This is going straight into my stash for more projects.

The tone-on-tone squares give this fabric a subtle texture that quilts up beautifully without overwhelming the pattern. I used it as a background for a baby quilt and the tiny grid adds just the right amount of visual interest. Washes up nice and soft, too.
