Grasscloth Vermilion by Heather Peterson for Riley Blake Designs

The color is richer in person than on screen, making it a beautiful backdrop for appliqué. This fabric has just enough texture to add depth without being stiff. I'm already planning my next project around it.

The texture genuinely mimics a woven grasscloth up close, which gives my quilt backgrounds so much more depth than a flat print. The dimensional color shifts subtly depending on the light, and it sewed up without any fraying headaches.

The woven texture gives it such a rich, dimensional look that really makes my quilt backgrounds pop. I've already ordered more for a second project, the color depth is that good.
