The tone-on-tone squares pick up the light beautifully, adding just enough texture to make quilting projects feel special. I used it for a throw pillow and the 100% cotton held its shape perfectly after washing.

The tiny squares are so subtle in person, they read as a rich black with just a hint of texture. It's got that nice quilting cotton weight and the 43" width gave me plenty to work with for a border. I've already cut into it for a baby quilt and the fabric held a crisp edge perfectly.

The little tone-on-tone squares give this black fabric so much depth without being flashy. I'm using it for a quilt backing and it's soft enough right out of the package.
