Kisses カイエン（ドゥードゥルバグ・デザイン社作、ライリー・ブレイク・デザイン）

The subtle tone-on-tone X pattern is barely there, which is exactly what I wanted for a background in a quilt. It's a nice, crisp 100% cotton that pressed flat without any fuss.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this cayenne color pops on the cotton, and the tiny tone-on-tone X adds just the right subtle detail for quilting. The fabric feels sturdy yet soft, and it blended perfectly with my other prints.

The tone-on-tone "X" pattern gives this cayenne fabric just enough texture without overwhelming a quilt top — it's playing nicely with some floral prints I paired it with. Already washed and dried a pre-cut piece and the color stayed rich with minimal shrinkage.
