The 6.4 oz weight gives this flannel a nice heft without being too heavy for a shirt. I've already cut into it for a fall project and the 44-inch width gave me plenty of room to work with. The prairie sky blue is even prettier in person than on screen.

This flannel is so much softer than standard quilting cotton right out of the wash, and the 44 inch width gave me plenty of room to cut without piecing. I used it for pajama pants and the 6.4 oz weight feels warm without being bulky.
