This eggplant purple is so rich and vibrant, it’s exactly the solid I needed for a quilt backing. The 44-inch width left me plenty of fabric to match my pattern, and it held up perfectly after a first wash.

The 100% cotton has a lovely, even weave that made cutting my quilt pieces a breeze. After washing, it came out soft and the eggplant color stayed rich with no fading.

I used this eggplant solid for the backing on a baby quilt, and the 100% cotton was easy to machine wash and dry with no shrinkage. The color is a rich, deep purple that really makes the lighter fabrics pop.
